It took a few months to see my cost savings, but the time that I saved with my first two new habits was apparent right away.

1) Grocery delivery
When I heard that grocery delivery was being offered in my area, I shrugged it off thinking it would cost a bundle.
But I did a bit of figuring, and compared shopping in-person to shopping online with delivery. After weighing the convenience and the cost, I decided to give it a try.
I was pleased to find that after six months of using this service, I’d saved enough time and money to make it worth continuing.
The time saving is obvious but what about cost savings?
Besides the time spent in the store, and driving, or in my case taking a taxi, the cost savings also became obvious.
