What I do
I am retired and I volunteer, with my guide dog Cooper, at the CNIB. I write on the side and spend most of my writing time on Medium.
Cooper and I visit schools and businesses, raising awareness about vision loss and service dogs. My favorite places to visit are schools, why? Because the kids ask the best questions. Also they are our future teachers, principals, and business owners who will influence a blind-friendly, accessible community.
What I write about
I write about service dogs, specifically guide dogs, and love to give Cooper's perspective on things.
I read a lot and enjoy writing book reviews. Medium has a large reading community, which means there are always commentaries and book recommendations to browse, and share opinions on.
